Once upon a time there was a bit.

The Bit wondered "To be or not to be that is the....... ? ".

Really. What kind of Question is a Bit supposed to ask?

Let's see, said the Bit, "Am I a 0 or a 1"? the Bit asked his-self.

Now that is a question a Bit can byte into.

But the Bit was kind of a philosopher bit also.

I am........what, when, why, where, how and therefore .....

"Another good Question!" said the Bit, "But how does that apply to me, a Bit"

And then the Bit pondered his Social status....

The Bit didn't know if her/he was an extrovert and/or introvert?

Funny thing for a Bit to ask him/herself!

Because the Bit didn't know about any other bits.

The Bit was becoming concerned.

Information to a lonely bit is.....well, rather useless.

.....The Bit decided that in order to determine what value of information belonged to him....

& to know what, where, when, how, why the Bit was, the Bit had to find other bits.

The Bit asked the question to Who or what, What value are you? 0 or 1?

and What, when, how, why, Who are you?

From the responses , the Bit , started to build Knowledge and Logic.

And as a result the Bit "Knows" much more about him self and other bits than he did before.

He knows that: Not all "Bits" are a like. Some answer / question the same. And some do not.

And logically they must be incorrect, mistaken, misguided or un Informed.

A basis for Boolean logic and Artificial intelligence.

At one point in time the Bit decided to Read.

But this presented a whole set of new problems.

For how is a Bit supposed to read other bits?

In order to do this the Bit had to write some of his own bits first.

And the Bit never felt the same about his-self ever since.

When the Bit now asks himself the question what he is and what he is not, or "To be or not to be", his answer is:

"You can be both a Zero or One and it does not change your answer/question. "

Kind of like a Quantum Bit!

And as for where the "Truth is Marching on/off"......the Answer per Question just keeps on changing.

And subsequently so does the Question per Answer.

Just a bit of Wisdom about Bits.
