".....and the Office Manager" A Math Story - by Zim Olson There once was Sysman or should I say SysPerson who was director of the Non Functional Operations of The System Z. That is to say, it was his job, or should I say Non Job, to direct and manage the operational flow of Non Functionality of System Z. For mathematical story expediency, we should call this office manager, Director Z. Director Z, had access to a large array of operations. Not just the basic operations of *, /, + and -. And the quantity + quality of information to manage was , well, absolutely non - X, or non definable. But he was sure there was a lot of this information. And so were all the other subordinates of Director Z. But as for Director Z's non job, this was defined by the other System Z components and of course by Principal System A.
So as I was saying, the operational library was impressive, that Director Z had access to. This included but was not limited to operations of Mathematics and Statistics. But The non information of System Z somehow had to be non defined or however you define non information of System Z. The reason for this was so Director Z would know how to proceed and manage the operation flow of the non functional information components of System Z. The role of System A in this process was to a large extent implicit mathematics. And the existence of non subordinate Systems or other Sub Systems was not immediately calculated. So you might call this management style Top Down/Bottom up management of the Non Functional Operations of System Z. So, one day , Director Z received a commandment from higher up. Or should I say from the principal system of System Z. Minimize the outgoing $$$ and Maximize the incoming $$$. While at same time performing said / stated task of the Function of System Z. The stated task of System Z, at that time, was to generate matter A-Y, organize it, transport it, and convert it to plus $$$ by some contractual agreement with some other System and Sub System. This was a completely understandable task at the moment. But Un Fortunately it involved other Systems outside it's domain or control. So this is where Director Z enters in and his office of the Non Functional Component of System Z.
Director Z pondered this tough task for several time segments. And developed some immediate strategies. If / when the System Z functional components did not function as directed from the higher up commandments, some alternate behavior strategies were needed. Some of the possible scenarios might be: 1. if function or task Z was not viable at specified $$$ output then.......... 2. If input function of $$$ was not viable ................ 3. if task or function Z was not viable or deemed valuable........................... In each case the Director would have to redefine the other components of System Z. The contextual interface , the purpose or reason, and the working structure of System Z. And the top down/bottom up strategy may not be of help here. So other system input was sought. At first other System Personnel was sought to alter the System state and resources. But most of their Qualifications were pre defined. And would merely be of quantitative impact on the resources of System Z. Which would not help in the above situations. The quest for new systems of possible interface and resource to System Z were sought. Something that would add to the resources or resource potential of System Z. Systems with intersections of Items and/or Events were looked for. Banks were not deemed viable as the system of $$$ was not working well. Transporting Z functionality / commodity to other Systems had inherent physical limits and could not be counted on exhaustively. Mining other Systems for resources may be frowned on and was considered problematic. New Systems had to be found. So how did Director Z go about finding new Systems and System resources? He took all the components and sub components of System Z and applied some of his arsenal of mathematical operations exhaustively giving new combinations and new expressions and thus a new system with new resources. Expressed Critical Information of System Z's Sub Systems has proved an inexhaustible resource at this time. He renamed this new System, System Xx. Director Z was promoted to the Non Functional component of the principal system to this new System Xx.
