"As the Truth goes Marching ON/OFF"
a poem by Zim Olson
Yes.... No
On..... Off
True....False
Can make us lost, In a host less toss.
As in a game of dice.
Maybe a resultant loss.
No cause with effect.
Is a cognitive defect?
An answer with no question to detect?
Or from which to reflect?
If we were not True...
would we be false?
How can that be?
Are we some binary tree?
Or a node,
where On/Off truth abodes.
And per chance unfolds.
The answer not yes!
Then there is no guess.
Independently....are we?
Or a network we cannot see?
The question:
Are we free?
Just do the Math,
to find your path.
And see.
To the rigid mathematician, woes abound
The network wind blows, but no new path is found.
A path less math, can give a new math path
Leading to a quantitative stress and mess....
A Truth no need to confess.
But a New Qualitative result,
with no need to consult.
As it is an effect with no fault.
Without the Host,
It is we who boast
But to give our math the most
We construct the dice
Not as we were rats and mice.
but for a network that is there,
but we cannot see.
Even Mathematically.
The mechanism On/Off!
In this we trust?
I am afraid this can be a must.
...but maybe a truth mode of Adjust.
gives a new range of trust
ON/OFF, Yes/NO and True/False....
Is no longer Just.
