Zim Math News: (updated 05-24-2013) Zim met with David Henninger, Dave De Lay, of Bayaud Enterprises and David Burgess of CHARG Resource Center, April 3, 2013 at Bayaud to discuss Zim Olson's proposed joint venture in the form of a Business Plan. Our next meeting has been postponed till tentatively, May 29, 2013 to discuss this further. Dave De Lay and David Henninger are looking to see if some one will help develop an official business plan and look for possible sources for seed money for this venture. Zim Olson held another exhibit at the
Math. Association of America,
Rocky Mountain Section
Annual Meeting at Adams State University, April 26-27, 2013.
Only 60 participants were registered for this relatively remotely
located annual meeting. I talked to almost every one and gave most
of them (50-55) a copy of my updated Zim Mathematics DVD. Michael
Pearson , Executive Director of the Mathematics Association of America also
was at this meeting, and I had opportunity to introduce myself to him as
well as my Mathematics. The meeting leadership used several of my
Zim Math T-Shirts, DVDs, and Greeting Cards as door prizes for the meeting
banquet and closing reception. The bus trip to Alamosa from Denver
was welcome, as the many snow covered mountain views were a treat.
Alamosa and Adams State University a pleasant change from Metro Denver.
Photos of this trip can be viewed here.
I have next year's section meeting in Laramie Wyoming on my calendar. E=MC2 Math Art - "Alpha-Omega Expressed" Listed Below on this Page Another Topic of Interest: Inverted
Space(s).....I read some time ago a book of spaces, I think callled
"General Spaces" by Pear. A quite lengthy book, but as I recall it had a
conclusion that there were basically no agreements on what consititutes
a space. Of course a few years ago, I summarized space(s) as a Principal
Expression of a Partial System expression. Or a Principal system as
some function of a partial system ......Today while waiting for the bus
on my way home, I thought of Inverted Spaces.
Which may be said to be a Partial System as Expressed or a function of some
Principal System expression. Maybe as in various forms of consciousness. "What is Additional Information?" within a Systems and/or Sub Systems Expression Paradigm. A new Zim Math item to work on. Zim Olson is in San Diego California for
Joint Math Meeting, January 9-12, 2013.

Meeting held at Auraria Campus in Denver, Colorado ended today, 4/14/2012.
On the first day of this meeting, April 13, 2012, the
traffic in the Exhibit area was disappointing. It was decided by the Meeting
Organizers, that next day the refreshments and registration tables would
be relocated next to the Exhibit tables. This proved to make a significant
improvement in the Exhibit area traffic the second day. Also, in a
sudden change of plans, I decided to attend the Meeting Banquet the first
evening, and in hopes of making up for the disappointing day at the Exhibits
that same day, I brought with me to the banquet about 14 sets of my
CDs and DVDs on Zim Mathematics. At the Banquet, the leadership decided
to make available 8 sets of the DVD/CDs for door prizes at the end of the
banquet. I gave away about another 6 sets of my presentations to inquiring
banqueters. Zim Mathematics and my exhibit was also favorably mentioned
in the Banquet at the podium. Also at the end of the meeting, with a large
crowd of meeting participants present, 3 of my Zim Mathematics T Shirts
were raffled off as an end to the Annual Conference.. 160 student
and mathematicians were said to have registered for the annual meeting. I submitted my new CD on my Existential Synopsis
(MS Office 2010 Power Point, 215 meg) to a committee of about 10 Colorado
State Senators as evidence opposing SB 32. Along with
a letter of introduction. On February 1, 2012 at about 10 AM at the
Colorado State Capitol. I also gave the same CD to my State Representative
Joe Miklosi on the same day at the Capitol, who has expressed interest in
my work over the past 1-2 years. Joe Miklosi is currently running for US
Congress. I attended the Boston Joint Mathematics Meeting January
4-7, 2012 as I have planned for almost a year. 7200 Mathematicians
were at this conference. Zim distributed 400 DVDs on Zim Mathematics
at his booth, along with other literature, booklets, business cards and
he also held a free Zim Math T Shirt raffle for ten t-shirts. I mailed the
winners the T Shirts from a Boston US Post Office, First Class Mail.
Here are The list
of 10 Winners and their Zip Codes in this PDF file. I estimate
I talked to 500 Mathematicians, one at a time, to varying length about Zim
Mathematics, Methodologies, Content and his System and/or Sub System paradigm.
The vast majority that stopped at my booth were receptive to very enthusiastic.
My best estimate is that Mathematics and Science will not be the same with
such efforts like this. At Zim's Exhibit he distributed 46 DVDs that summarized his Mathematics. About the same as at last year's Regional Conference. The Conference organizers claimed 100 Mathematics Professors and 50 Math Teachers and Students attended. Zim at his Exhibit can be seen here. And Zim at his presentation is available here. I was able to attend and have a Zim Mathematics exhibit booth. I was also able to give out 315 DVDs and 50 CDs summarizing Zim Mathematics. I also held a free Zim Math T Shirt Raffle for 10 T Shirts and winners. The ten winners of the Zim Mathematics T Shirt Raffle have either received their T Shirt at the Conference or they have been mailed the T Shirts First Class US Mail. I estimate I talked to about 400 Conference Attendees with a variety of length and depth about Zim Mathematics. The most popular question was "What is Zim Mathematics?". Others wanted to know about the contents of the DVDs and CDs I made available. Some wanted to know about my Zim Mathematics applications. Most were impressed with my T Shirt designs which were readily visible on my booth table. The conference was held at the New Orleans Marriott and Sheraton Hotels on Canal St in New Orleans. Zim received a letter from the conference organizers and the AMS and MAA leadership thanking him for his exhibit at the conference. |
![]() I made this Venn Diagram sometime ago.
I thought it was intriguing and somehow significant.
I had put it in my "Work In Progress" section. Somehow, I think it
is significant to portray System(s) expressions as systems of expressions
and/or non expressions. Representing more accurately our expressions within
an existential partial systems expression. And with the expression
above, equality of Energy as the functional intersection of the expressed
and/or non expressed components. |
